Shaft Quenching Furnace

Shaft kiln quenching is a metal heat treatment process in which a metal workpiece is heated to a certain suitable temperature and maintained for a certain period of time, and then immersed in a quenching medium for rapid cooling.

Shaft kiln quenching is a metal heat treatment process in which a metal workpiece is heated to a certain suitable temperature and maintained for a certain period of time, and then immersed in a quenching medium for rapid cooling. A shaft furnace is a commonly used equipment in this quenching process. Its structural characteristics are that it is welded into a square shell with angle steel, channel steel and steel plate, and it uses light clay bricks as the refractory layer inside, and it is embedded in a vertical shaft kiln.

The shaft furnace is mainly composed of furnace body, heating elements, stainless steel protective basket, cast feeding baskets, hot air circulation device and temperature control system.

High Accuracy: Shaft furnace quenching allows for precise control of the heating temperature and cooling rate to obtain the expected hardness and wear resistance.

High efficiency: Shaft furnace quenching allows you to process multiple workpieces at the same time, improving production efficiency.

Application: Shaft furnace quenching is suitable for heat treatment of various tools, molds, measuring instruments and parts that require surface wear resistance (e.g. gears, rollers, carburized parts, etc.).

Adjustable: By adjusting parameters such as heating temperature, dwell time and cooling medium, precise control of the workpiece's performance can be achieved.
