    A mandrel, also known as a "main shaft," is the central axis of a micromechanical device that carries a control element (such as a sliding structure or a rotating structure), and is typically used in the interaction between a controller and an actuator. As an efficient mechanical transmission shaft, it has a wide range of application scenarios and can be found in automated production and cleaning equipment in machining, food, non-alcoholic and other industries.

    The principle is similar to multi-stage gearing, but more efficient than gearing. It consists of two mutually nested shafts, including a large shaft and a small shaft, which are connected by a "core". When the large shaft rotates, the small shaft will also rotate due to the presence of the core shaft, thereby converting the rotational force in one direction into the rotational force in the other direction.

    The mandrel can effectively transfer the rotational force from one direction to another with high rotational efficiency. When the mandrel is set in motion, the force is fully balanced between the large and small shafts, and the transmission becomes more stable. Because the force applied to the mandrel during transmission is more balanced than in traditional shaft transmission, the mandrel has a longer service life. The mandrel can not only transmit power, but also realize many functions, such as axial positioning, support and placement of rotating parts, and separation transmission.
